Who we are

This site (martinzahradnik.com) is operated by Martin Zahradnik s.r.o., based in Slovakia. We are the data controller for the personal data described here. You can reach us about privacy at martin@martinzahradnik.com. Our business address is Lučna 37 Cifer, 919 43, Slovakia.

What we collect and why

If you download the free resource: the PDF downloads to your device straight away. We ask for your email address so we can follow up with related marketing emails - which you can stop at any time.

Our legal basis is your consent, which you give when you submit the form. You can withdraw it at any time (see “Unsubscribe and deletion” below).

If you book a call: we use a Calendly embed for scheduling. When you book, Calendly collects your name, email, and scheduling details, and may set its own cookies, under Calendly’s privacy policy. We use this only to arrange and hold the call you requested.

When you browse the site: we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see basic, aggregated visit statistics. It is privacy-friendly - no cookies and no cross-site tracking - and does not identify you. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used.

When you submit the form: we run a Cloudflare Turnstile bot check that processes your IP address to tell humans from bots and prevent spam and abuse. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the form secure.

Who handles your data for us

We use a small number of trusted providers (processors) to run the site:

  • Instantly - sends the follow-up marketing emails.
  • Calendly - handles call bookings (under its own policy).
  • Cloudflare - hosts the site, provides cookieless analytics, and runs Turnstile, the anti-spam bot check on our form (which processes your IP address to tell humans from bots).

We do not use advertising pixels, we do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone else.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

Your rights

If you’re in the EU or UK, you have the right to: access your data, correct it, have it deleted, object to processing, and withdraw your consent at any time. To use any of these, email us at martin@martinzahradnik.com.

You can also complain to a data protection authority. In Slovakia that is the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov SR); EU and UK visitors may instead contact their local authority.

Unsubscribe and deletion

Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, so you can opt out with one click. You can also email us at martin@martinzahradnik.com and we’ll delete your details.
